FINAL PAPERS

Authors of the accepted abstracts (both oral and poster) are requested to submit the final paper by 15th June 2015. Final paper can be prepared and submitted following five easy steps:

Step 1 - Prepare Your Final Paper
  • Paper must be written in English using the available LaTeX or Microsoft Word templates for A4 format. Formatting may not be altered.
  • Four pages are required per paper in standard IEEE format.

 

Step 2 - Add Copyright information to the first page of the paper

The appropriate copyright clearance code notice is to appear on the bottom of the first page (see example) of each paper according to the guidelines set forth in the Cataloging/Copyright Instructions for an IEEE Conference Proceeding.

  • For papers in which all authors are employed by the US government, the copyright notice is:
    U.S. Government work not protected by U.S. copyright

  • For papers in which all authors are employed by a Crown government (UK, Canada, and Australia), the copyright notice is:
    /15/$31.00 ©2015 Crown

  • For papers in which all authors are employed by the European Union, the copyright notice is:
    /15/$31.00 ©2015 European Union

  • For all other papers the copyright notice is:
    /15/$31.00 ©2015 IEEE

 

Step 3 - Check Your Final Paper

It is MANDATORY to verify the PDF file of the paper for IEEE compliance before submission. This should be made by using PDF Express.

Papers that are not IEEE compliant will not be included in the proceedings nor published on IEEExplore.

How to use the PDF Express
Create your PDF eXpress Account

Log in to the IEEE PDF eXpress Plus site

First-time users should do the following:

  1. Select the New Users - Click Here link.
  2. Enter the following code for the Conference ID:
    • your email address
    • a password
  3. Continue to enter information as prompted.
    An Online confirmation will be displayed and an email confirmation will be sent verifying your account setup.

Previous users of PDF eXpress or IEEE PDF eXpress Plus need to follow the above steps, but should enter the same password that was used for previous conferences. Verify that your contact information is valid.

 

Check your document with PDF eXpress

Click on the website of PDF eXpress and login with your account data.

After checking your file you will receive a first e-mail which confirms the PDF eXpress Plus has received your file and after the review a second e-mail with the result of the file check.

The file can be uploaded in the conftool system once it passes the PDF eXpress check.

 

When checked with PDF Express the paper is NOT submitted yet.

After receiving confirmation of compliance from PDF Express authors have to submit the PDF file approved by PDF Express through the online submission system conftool.

 

Step 4 - Sign the Copyright form in the conftool system

Enter your conftool account at www.conftool.com/nano2015. In the page "your submission", click the link Electronic Copyright Form and follow the procedure to complete the operation. A PDF copyright document will be created and stored on the file system. The user will have the ability to download the document.

 

Step 5 - Upload Your Final Paper

The Final paper should be uploaded on your conftool account at www.conftool.com/nano2015.
Please double check the informations that you provide during online submission:

  • title of the paper
  • name, affiliation, e-mail address of the authors
  • name of the corresponding author
  • complete mailing address, phone, fax, and e-mail address of the corresponding author

Since these informations will be used unchanged in the conference program and proceedings, it is important that you enter them correctly.

Notes:
1. Registration must be completed to publish your final paper.
2. Your submission will not be completed until you reach the submission confirmation page.
